The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation phases of the various company projects; he/she will be responsible for interfacing with the various company bodies and with customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with costs, timescales and agreed quality, with a view to maximum customer satisfaction.


Main activities

  • Coordinate the product development team as the assigned project manager
  • Plan all product development activities and monitor their progress until all established objectives are achieved
  • Act as an interface and contact person for the Customer for the relevant project until a suitable period after the product has been launched
  • Perform a definitive technical-production feasibility analysis on new products
  • Identify, in collaboration with the Purchasing Office/SQE, new potential suppliers of materials
  • Start pilot orders for such materials until the product/supplier has been qualified
  • Manage technical changes to the project agreed with the customer and coordinate all related activities
  • Provide support to Process Quality in managing complaints and reports from Customers after the start of series production
  • Plan activities related to the transfer of production sites and monitor their progress
  • Supervise the creation of the prototype at the Modeling Department
  • Plan, request and monitor the results of all necessary laboratory tests on the new product (Technical Resolution and Self-qualification)
  • Prepare cost estimate for the new finalized products to the offer formulation

Education and experience
  • Master's Degree in Engineering Minimum 3 years in a similar role in structured and international companies
  • Coming from the automotive sector (OEM/Tier 1)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or SAP is appreciated
