The A&D Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting, contacting and visiting targeted A&D firms
within
the New York Metro area
, while generating maximum revenue for the company.
Using a consultative sales approach, s/he will service the local residential and commercial interior design community and will act as an ambassador for the company to grow brand awareness and to educate about Poltrona Frau’s distinguished product offerings.
The A&D Sales Executive will be based in the company’s showroom in Midtown Manhattan and will report directly to the Showroom Manager.
Main Activities:
Pursue daily outreach to A&D community in the NY Metro area
Develop and nurture business relationships with Architects and Designers
while maintaining existing accounts
Identify business opportunities to generate large volume projects
Conduct product presentations and lunch & learns in the most professional manner
Support showroom events and attend networking opportunities, trade shows, etc.
Supervise the specification and purchasing process from initial quote to delivery; intercept potential issues and propose solutions in a timely and effective manner
Service select Contract dealers and other Purchasing entities
Maintain and update CRM database with project information, visit report and client contact database
Help showroom
sales staff in
ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of the showroom:
assist customers in person or over the phone and
make sure product display and visual marketing are of the highest standards
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred
Min. 5 years’ experience in the role, preferably selling luxury furnishing products
Exisiting relationships within the top A&D firms in NYC
Proven sales history
Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite) and good knowledge of CRM tools
Technical and Soft skills:

Organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage time and prioritize work
