The Facility Manager is responsible for managing the Poltrona Frau in Motion Business Unit’s physical facilities and premises.
In coordination with the Poltrona Frau Engineering & Facilities Manager, he oversees all activities related to the routine and extraordinary maintenance of the BU’s buildings, technical systems, and outdoor areas.
The position is responsible for managing the assigned budget and monitoring the performance of external service providers; works closely with other company functions to ensure that the working environment remains efficient, welcoming, and compliant with the required quality standards.
The position reports hierarchically to the Poltrona Frau Engineering & Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage routine and extraordinary maintenance of buildings, outdoor areas, plant systems, and facility-related equipment (e.g., air compressors, heating and cooling systems, electrical substations, photovoltaic systems)
  • Collaborate with the Indirect Procurement Department in the preparation of service contracts and oversee the proper delivery and management of outsourced services
  • Coordinate renovation, refurbishment, and workplace adaptation projects within company facilities
  • In coordination with the Poltrona Frau Engineering & Facilities Manager, manage the assigned budget and optimize operating costs by proactively proposing alternative and/or innovative materials, processes, and technologies for facility management
  • Manage building access control systems and physical security measures, including CCTV systems, security services, and intrusion detection systems
  • In coordination with the Poltrona Frau Engineering & Facilities Manager, develop and manage facility layouts and support continuous improvement initiatives related to facility management

Education and Experience:
  • Preferred educational background: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • Strong knowledge of regulations related to occupational health and safety (Legislative Decree 81/08), environmental compliance, and facilities management
  • Experience in industrialization activities
  • Proficiency in the main Microsoft Office and office automation software packages
  • Knowledge and use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Preferred knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of methods and cycle time analysis
  • Understanding of value analysis techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Workplace: Tolentino

Conditions: The position offers a Quadro classification with a gross annual salary of €50-60.000 plus health insurance, in line with CCNL Legno Arredo Industria collective agreement.
The compensation range indicated in this job posting represents an estimated average range for the position. The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements.
