The position plays a key coordination role across multiple business functions, working closely with the Project Manager to support the launch of new projects. The role is responsible for managing Operations-related aspects during the project start-up phase and ensuring manufacturing readiness for the transition to mass production.
The position reports directly to the Lean & Readiness Manager.

Main responsibilities:

  • appointed during the Kick-Off meeting as a member of the project APQP team.
  • responsible for ensuring compliance with the project timeline shared by the Project Manager.
  • participates in APQP project meetings, where he/she:
    • ensures prototype development activities (model-making), coordinated by the Project Manager
    • ensures production planning for the project launch phases in line with Project Manager requirements
    • ensures the availability of pre-series and series work instructions (ILCs) developed by Engineering under the guidance of the Project Manager
    • ensures that Lessons Learned are implemented across all new projects throughout the APQP process
    • supports the development and industrialization of new technologies in collaboration with the R&D Manager and the Engineering team
    • maintains visibility on the receipt of raw materials required for production and ordered by the Project Manager, in order to monitor production progress effectively
    • remains informed about the product specifications and characteristics defined for the project
  • ensures the availability of the tools and equipment required for production, ordered and managed by Engineering
  • ensures readiness of the production schedule/program (prepared by the Project Manager and Logistics) to support manufacturing, quality inspection, and shipment activities
  • oversees the definition of new production layouts and the optimization of workstations during the transition from project launch to serial production, in coordination with the Engineering representative
  • provides on-site support to production teams during the pre-series phase.

Education and experiences
  • High School Diploma or University Degree in a technical field
  • good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Office suite
  • very good command of the English language

Technical & Soft skills
  • knowledge of manufacturing processes for sewn and upholstered products
  • proficiency in 2D graphic design and drafting software
  • knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA analysis methodologies
  • workstation balancing and line optimization principles
  • ability to perform statistical data analysis
  • ability to work effectively within a team while contributing to individual and departmental objectives
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • customer-oriented mindset, with a focus on both internal and external stakeholders

Conditions: The position offers a employee classification with a gross annual salary of €37-45.000 in line with CCNL Legno Arredo Industria collective agreement.
The compensation range indicated in this job posting represents an estimated average range for the position. The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements.
