Poltrona Frau New Business Development & Key Account Manager – Interiors in Motion Division

The New Business Development & Key Account Manager is responsible for business development and management of assigned clients. He/She guarantees continuity in business relationships, maximizing commercial opportunities, follows the growth and development of assigned customers, aiming to generate new business opportunities, is the interface between the customer and the internal corporate bodies.

Main activities
The position reports to the Sales Manager of the Interiors In Motion Business Unit and its duties include:
  • Analyze the market  with value segments definition
  • Participate to business Exhibitions to lead a benchmarking activity and develop brand awareness
  • Research new opportunities and oversee growth projects
  • Define potential clients target and develop related  network
  • Organize technical and commercial meeting to promote company proposal
  • SWOT analysis related to business opportunities and competitors
  • RFQ analysis on all contents
  • Business case and Profitability studies
  • Customer technical review management and preparation
  • Customers proposal with full technical details acknowledge
  • Negotiation with Customer Purchase dept. at all levels.
  • Periodic report on Customer strategies, organization changes, problems and opportunities.
  • Ability to manage resources

Education and work experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering-Management/Economics/Marketing;
  • 5/7 years of seniority in the automotive/domestic appliances sector preferably with experience in Project Management activities;
  • Technical knowledge that allows you to interact with the customer's structure at various levels;
  • Willingness to travel frequently.

Skills and abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language;
  • Good knowledge of a second foreign language;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office package;
  • Excellent relational and organizational skills;
  • Good written and oral communication;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Flexibility and ability to persuade;
  • Aptitude for team work;
  • Stress tolerance;
  • Ability to analyze and synthesis aimed at problem solving.
  • Proactiveness and orientation towards the achievement of goals.
